well. let me think about this. route a  is probably the most suitable because it uses the fewest steps. on the other hand,  it's not very cost efficient. alternatively, route b uses very similar chemistry to the last project. so it might be the more reliable option. the biggest advantage of route b is it would definitely help us reduce the cost
despite taking a longer time. by the way, I was recently looking through the literature and found a very interesting new technique that i think you might be interested in. this help us create a third alternative. having said that, we would need to take an additional couple of days to do that. so you need to choose whether to give it  to go.

Well let me think about this. Route A is a little risky. Because some new technical will be used. But high risk, high eward. It worth to try. Route B uses simlar chemistry to some finished project in our previous work. So it might be more reliable. By the way if this target is with higher priority，we can initiate both route in parallel to make sure it could be delivered on time.
