A logical connector is a word or phrase that connects two ideas and shows the relationship between the two ideas. Logical connectors are also known as signal words because they signal the relationship of the ideas to the reader or listener.
These words not only help you stay on track with your own logic, but also create an easier path for your audience to follow what your're trying to express.
This is by no means an exhaustive list of logical connectors, but just a starting point for you to get more involved with the skills of Analyzing and Summarizing the information that we focus on in our sessions.
