What's the difference between anywhere and everywhere?

Simply put:
"Anywhere" means "in any place"
and
" Everywhere" means "in all places"

"Anywhere" can be used in both positive and negative sentences while "everywhere" is used in positive sentences.

Here are some more examples of correct ways to express yourself using anywhere:
✅ I didn't see your toy anywhere.
✅ I can't think of anywhere it could be at the moment.
✅ Have you seen my cat anywhere? He seems to be lost.

Here are some more examples of correct ways to express yourself using everywhere:
✅ There are people in glasses everywhere I go.
✅ That noise is everywhere, I can't seem to avoid it.
✅ People everywhere around the world need to eat to survive.

Here are some more examples of incorrect usage:
❌I know my pen is everywhere on my desk . (This example should be "somewhere" on my desk)
❌The basket broke, and the oranges went anywhere. (The correct answer here is "everywhere")
❌You can sit everywhere you want. (In this example we should say "anywhere"
